Gustavo took up photography aged 15. He trained at the Bournville School of Art Birmingham and Richmond College, Sheffield.

He has been a professional medical photographer for more than 30 years, but hasn't confined his shots to the clinic and the operating theatre. Past commissions include images for travel features, events photography, portraiture, industrial, theatre and landscapes.

His favourite subjects include theatre, nature and landscapes.
